The Registration Department in Maharashtra State has eight (8) regions for the administrative convenience and Nashik is an one Region, also known as the Khandesh Region of the Maharashtra State. The District Dhule come under Registration Region Nashik, Dhule District has four (4) Revenu Talukas which are as follow Dhule, Sakri, Shindkheda and Shirpur for the convenience of the people to register the property registrations, the department has arranged 6 registration offices.

When anyone purchases an immovable property in the Maharashtra, State then he or she needs to register the instrument under The section 17 of the Registration Act, 1908 within the prescribed time of four (4) months from the date of execution mentioned in the instrument/document at the office of Registrar of Assurance in which the property situated.

Section 23 of the registration act declares that any deed executed should be submitted for registration within four months. If the presentation is beyond four months the registrar has jurisdiction to condone the delay of four months under section 25.

If the delay for presenting the instrument/document, for the registration. One can make an application to the respective sub-registrar for condonation of the presentation, and the registrar can grant permission for the next four (4) months with a fine that may be up to ten (10) times the registration fee.

If the property purchased is a resale, under construction or ready possession, the registration charges are one (1) percent with a cap of ₹ 30000/- on the market value or on the consideration value mentioned in document or instrument whichever is higher.
